1998 – 2002 Top Consultants Inc.
Charlotte, NC Consultant (2/01-2/02) Have been repairing PC
and installing software. Have sold and repaired over 30 computers in the last
year. Have installed Windows 2000, 98 and 95 and Word 97. Also working as a
security guard part time at Burns Security.
FISI Cendant (8/00-2/01) Created a subsystem to handle Credit Card associates of
FISI to give life insurance for credit card holders through the largest banks
in America (Chase Manhattan, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and City Bank).
Using extensive Cl and DDS created menus, which called the programs to
convert the data into a singular format even though each bank has its data
formatted differently. Using RPG, DDS, physical and logical files and
subfiles created this subsystem which allowed a verification of credit card
accounts of the member banks. Over 100 different programs written in CL, RPG
and SQL to support this sub system. Created an SQL structure, which allowed
the SQL to use the member banks data file under a unified sub system. Also
created a program to view statistics of member banks to give a report to the
insurance overseer. These programs averaged over 36 hours of computer time to
run per member bank. I reduced the time to about 4 hours per member financial
institution, using my extensive knowledge of physical/logical files and the
AS/400. This project saved $1,000,000 in fines, which would have occurred if
this report would not have been produced. Panalpina (6/00-7-00) AS/400 maintenance for Egyptian
Military Shipping system. Reviewed the logical/physical structure, menus and
CL. Aplix (9/99-11/99)- Developed RPG
scanning program which interfaced with JDE Sales & Manufacturing, also
wrote Bill of Lading program which interfaced with JDE. CSI ( 6/99-9/99)- Wrote many Cobol, CL Programs for
various Maintenance applications on Manufacturing System using AS/400. Airtex
(8/98-3/99) – Using Cobol, RPG, DDS and
logical/physical file converted all the data from a homegrown mainframe
system to JDE Edwards. Also created a Cobol converter, which converted the
Mainframe Cobol into AS/400 Cobol. This conversion of data and Cobol programs
draws on heavy experience in CL, RPG, Cobol and my understanding of AS/400
and computers in general. Also in this project added screens to the JD
Edwards system. Using extensive knowledge of AS/400 using multi member
logical, physical and Source Files to create a cohesive archival structure
for maintaining versions of the object elements. 1995 - 1998 LaunchTime International Inc. Charlotte, NC Consultant PMSC(4/98-8/98) - Insurance, using
Cobol on AS/400, Y2K conversion. Red Oak Technologies(9/97-2/98)
– Created a AS/400 query system, which converted the source of Query statements
to SQL . This system was presented by Red Oak Technologies as a product for
sale by them. Converted Mesa Manufacturing system using RPG on AS/400. Helped
also by using my extensive knowledge of file systems to create a report on
the Y2K changes using Query, CL and Source files. Ciba(6/98-8/97) - Using Cobol on AS/400, employee time reporting
system. Seicor(1/97-5/97) - Supported Fiber

copy system to make generic tapes for telephone office switches. Worked with
SCSI interface to control tape devices HCD's and MCD's. Developed the program
using AT & T windows program (CURSES) and FMLI. Used K-shell scripts and
C language. Integrated drivers for SCSI disk, TCP/IP, NFS, SCSI tape handlers
into the UNIX kernel. Installed a Mac Database system for a Fort Mill Co. (Mainframe. Sarah Lee Knit - Wrote 30 different
